| Welcome to Port Maw - Your Battlefleet Gothic Source Welcome to Port Maw! What exactly is Port Maw you ask? Well Port Maw is a community-driven website dedicated to the tabletop hobby game Battlefleet Gothic (BFG for short), by Games Workshop. For those of you familiar with Warhammer 40,000, but have never heard of Battlefleet Gothic before, You could say that BFG is the space component of 40K. BFG is the game of the Warhammer 40K universe where you get to command the fleets of starships against each other in a battle for supremacy. The 40K races that currently have fleets (or at least a couple ships) in Battlefleet Gothic are the Imperium (Imperial Navy), Chaos, Eldar, Craftworld Eldar, Dark Eldar, Tau, Necrons, Tyranids, and the Orks. There are also Rogue Trader and a few other "free agent" type ships available as well. So what is our goal? Our goal here at Port Maw is to provide you with a single unified source for all your Battlefleet Gothic needs. It has been over eight years now since Battlefleet Gothic was first published by GW, and the support the game is getting is sparse at best. If we want our game not only to survive but to thrive and grow, it is up to us as the community that enjoys it to be that support! That is what we are here for. Cybershadow & Horizon [Submitted by horizon] Noteworthy article on Battlefleet Gothic terrain Ran across a cool blog post at A Mind of Metal and Wheels about Battlefleet Gothic terrain. Some really nice terrain. I have created a permanent link in the link section. However, it is worth noting here as well. Make sure you check it out! Battle Fleet Gothic Terrain Warp Rift 19 released Hot on the heels of issue eighteen, we have the next issue, unsurprisingly titled... issue nineteen! This issue we have a report from the Anargo Sector, including new transport ships, rules for simultaneous movement, a spotlight on ships from the Marine fleets, part one of new fiction, an article on building merchant vessels and a new convoy scenario. Feel free to let us know what you think in the forums, and the articles contain links to the boards to let us know your feedback and comments.
